Now EC’s contracts for GE13 caps puzzle Rafizi

Rafizi wants EC to explain contracts. - The Malaysian Insider pic by Nazir Sufari, July 23, 2013.Rafizi wants EC to explain contracts. - The Malaysian Insider pic by Nazir Sufari, July 23, 2013.PKR strategy director Rafizi Ramli said that the EC must answer why the contract for the supply of caps for GE13 was given to three different companies which were controlled by the same person, known as Mohamed Salleh Mohamed Alli.
He added that if the EC had nothing to hide, there was no reason for it to award it to three companies.

"If the EC leadership can't even get this procurement process right, how can they expect the public to trust them to run the election fairly?” he asked during a press conference at the PKR headquartersin Petaling Jaya.
The Pandan MP named Nash Ventures Sdn Bhd, Ayumi Resources Sdn Bhd and Bumi Services Sdn Bhd as the three companies given contracts to supply the caps.
Rafizi also mentioned that he stood by his initial revelation in Parliament that Integrated Challenger (M) Sdn Bhd, which is also linked to Mohamed Salleh, is the company which supplied the controversial indelible ink for GE13.
"The fact that I was not referred to the rights and privileges committee for naming the person in Parliament, and also because no BN backbencher or minister denied it, I am still convinced Integrated Challenger is the ink supplier."
MORE TO COME.
