It's a boy! Kate and William are now the proud parents of the newest member of the Royal Family - and future King of England.

Born at 4.24pm at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington, and weighing 8lb 6oz, Kate and William's son arrived just eight hours after they themselves arrived at the hospital

Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby said on Twitter: "Delighted for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as they welcome their baby boy. May God bless them all with love, health and happiness."
