Rafizi answers Rosmah's aide's five questions with mountain of documents

PKR vice-president Rafizi Ramli has produced a mountain of documents to respond to five questions posed by Rosmah Mansor's aide Rizal Mansor, with regards to the finances of Invoke - the Pandan MP's policy research body.
Rafizi said even though the questions were meant to imply that he had stolen money through Invoke, he is still responding out of respect for Malaysian's right to know about the body's finances.
Among Rizal's five questions yesterday was whether the PKR lawmaker really poured his Tabung Haji and Amanah Saham Bumiputera (ASB) funds into Invoke as start-up capital.
To this, Rafizi showed photos of his account books which showed he had taken out RM530,000 from his pilgrimage fund account, and RM100,000 from his ASB.
"In total, I have transferred RM755,500 as capital to invoke," he said. A PDF file of the transactions was provided on his blog.
Responding to Rizal's demand for details of the RM857,000 said to have been received by Invoke from public donations, Rafizi said he was not clear where the former had gotten such a figure.
However, he assumed Rizal was referring to the crowdfunding exercise he carried out to pay the RM300,000 in damages he has been ordered to pay to the National Feedlot Corp (NFC).
In a blog posting, he said the actual figure collected over a 10-day period was RM1.58 million, donated by 5,135 people.
He published two PDF files totalling 194 pages, detailing three days worth of transactions during the campaign, from July 24 to 26.
"Even without the records for (the whole) 10 days, I am confident Malaysians can see for themselves that the (donated) amount came from thousands of Malaysians who made small contributions," Rafizi said.
He also provided a link to a previous blog entry when he analysed a breakdown of all the donations he received.
Meanwhile on Rizal's query about the wages of Invoke's 80 volunteers - which he claimed averaged at around RM1,100 a month - Rafizi said they actually earn between RM1,500 to RM4,200.
"Most Invoke volunteers resigned from their respective jobs to serve for between one to two years, to help topple BN.
"The number of workers who earn more than RM3,000 a month does not exceed 20 people at one time," he said.
He also said that the workers have contracts with a company named KEIP Resources Sdn Bhd, which has human resource agreement with Invoke.
He said every Invoke volunteer, and KEIP resources make contributions to the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) and the Social Security Organsiation (Socso).
On Invoke's offices nationwide, Rafizi said the research body spends RM12,146 a month for rental of its offices outside Kuala Lumpur, and RM11,300 a month for rent on its headquarters in Sungai Besi.
According to a breakdown provided by Rafizi of Invoke's regional offices, the body has three offices in Kedah, two in Perak, two in Johor, and one each in Perlis, Pahang, Terengganu, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka and Penang.

More than RM47,000 has been spent on renovations of the regional offices.
Rafizi also responded to Rizal's query on the source of the RM1.06 million that the research body is said to receive from subscriptions to its services.
The Pandan MP said the amount Invoke has collected a total of RM2.97 million from its various services and fundraising dinners since beginning operations last year.
A 15-page record of its sales transactions for services for May 2017 totalling RM180,650 was included in the blogpost. - Mkini
